My name is Abhilash Bapanasha and I am a Research Scholar at the Department of Mass Communication and Journalism, Tezpur University, India.

My previous research includes an ethnographic study focussed on understanding the role of participatory musical traditions inside the neo-Vaishnavite monasteries in the Indian state of Assam.

Currently, I wish to read, understand, learn and collaborate on the following themes:

  • Presentation of self online

Prior to joining academic research, I was working as a Content Writer at a prominent satellite news channel based in Guwahati, Assam.

From when I discovered it till now, I consider audio as a unique powerful medium of communication and continue to produce research-based podcasts from time to time.

Happy to connect and collaborate!
